A Pleasant Fiction

 Percy Howard is a singer and a song writer who over the years

has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music

world. The project named Meridiem was formed in 1997 when

Percy invited Bill Laswell to work with him along with drummer

Charles Hayward who had previously been a member of This

Heat. Bill Laswell of course has worked with many artists

including, Daevid Allen and New York Gong, Herbie Hancock

and perhaps most famously Brian Eno and David Byrne on

their album My Life In The Bush of Ghosts.

The album A Pleasant Fiction was originally released in 2004

and includes contributions from Living Color guitarist Vernon

Reid and former Guns n Roses guitarist Buckethead. The

album has a broad base of influences and due to the influences

brought to bear by Founder members Laswell and Howard the

album makes for an eclectic listening experience.
