The Motels were an American NEW WAVE band fronted by
MARTHA DAVIS who played around LA in the mid 1970’s.
There debut album THE MOTELS was released by EMI and
was critically well received.
This live set recorded in Boston in 1979 AND 1980 captures
the band at there peak and contains TOTAL CONTROL a
song covered by TINA TURNER.
