In 1993, Bedford was commissioned by the royal observatory in Greenwich to compose music to celebrate the renovation of the room containing the Great Equatorial Telescope.
This CD contains that music which was originally only 10 minutes long and has been extended to CD length.
The equipment used was a KORG M1, PROTEUS 2 and PROTEUS 3, recorded onto floppy disc using the cubase programme and mastered by the Sadie system directly onto DAT.

David Bedford’s career began in the late 60’s with his involvement with KEVIN AYRES, and was the keyboard player for his band. He began recording his own music in the early 70’s with a number of albums.
It was during his time with KEVIN AYRES that he met MIKE OLDFIELD which led to him orchestrating TUBULAR BELLS and the follow up album ‘Hergest Ridge’.
