JEFFERSON AIRPLANE were one of the most successful bands to come out of the mid sixties San Francisco scene.
After changing into JEFFERSON STARSHIP and the original members perusing separate careers, in 1989 the major players reformed for a one off reunion.
The band on this album consisted of PAUL KANTNER, JORMA KAUKONEN, JACK CASSIDY, and GRACE SLICK. The drummer SPENCER DRYDEN, who was part of the classic 1967/1969 line up was not invited to join.
This album with the exception of one track contains original material written by the main principles of the band.
The track ‘True Love’ was written by members of TOTO, who also contributed as backing musicians on the album.
