Live at the Paradiso

Live at the Paradiso

About this release

THE SOFT MACHINE were one of the darlings of the London Underground scene in the late sixties. Their classic debut album remains one of the all time great psychedelic recordings.

In 1969 the band performed at the famous Paradiso club in Amsterdam, and the line up was ROBERT WYATT, MIKE RATLEDGE, and the former roadie HUGH HOPPER.

The songs on this set are derived from Volume 2, that had been recorded but yet to be re-issued.

We have re-mastered where possible to create the best audio experience of these historic performances.

Tracks: Disc 1: Hulloder, Dada Was Here, Thank Yous Pierrot Lunaire, Have You Ever Bean Green?, Pataphysical Introduction Pt.II, As Long As He Lies Perfectly Still, Fire Engine Passing With Bells Clanging, Hibou Anemone and Bear, Fire Engine With Bells Clanging (reprise), Pig, Orange Skin Food, A Door Opens and Closes, 10:30 Returns to the Bedroom.
