A brand new recording from BOZ BOORER, best known as Morrissey’s guitarist, co-writer and musical director since 1991.Before that he was best known as a founder member of the Rockabilly band the POLECATS.
The other half of THE HAPPY MARTYRS, ALEX LUSTY had his first release in 2000 under the guise of FRIGID VINEGAR. He then went on to be part of the hoolie rap duo ACARINE.
He met BOZ backstage at a MORRISSEY concert in 2004, and their first collaboration was ‘The One Three’ and the album ‘Life Goes On’.
This brand new album is described as urban-folk or Ian Dury fronting early T-Rex. The music is raw sounding acoustic rap crossover.
The single ‘Painkillers’ was a download only release in April 2011. The duo will be touring early 2012 to promote the release of the album.
