Suburban Voodoo

About this release

Out of stock

Originally released in 1982 when PAUL CARRACK was playing with NICK LOWE.

NICK LOWE produced the album and co-wrote a number of the tracks including ‘I’m In Love’ with his then wife, daughter of JOHNNY CASH, CARLENE CARTER.

NICK LOWE’S contribution was so strong that this album sounds very much like an album that NICK LOWE could’ve released but with PAUL singing.

Also playing on the album, on guitar MARTIN BELMONT (GRAHAM PARKER, DUCKS DELUXE, and NICK LOWE), and on drums the late BOBBY IRWIN (VAN MORRISON, NICK LOWE).

PAUL CARRACK used this album at the time to re-launch his career following a successful stint with SQUEEZE. PAUL has also sang on hits by ACE, MIKE AND THE MECHANICS, and ROXY MUSIC.

Tracks:

Lesson in Love, Always Better With You, I Need You, I’m In Love, Don’t Give My Heart a Break, A Little Unkind, Out of Touch, What a Way to Go, So Right so Wrong, From Now On, Call Me Tonight, I Found Love.
