‘Tana Mana’ was originally released in 1987 and is a rare collaboration of Indian classical musicians and western rock players.

Featuring on autoharp, synthesisers, and vocals, is GEORGE HARRISON (a lot of this music was actually recorded at George’s house Friar Park).

Also from the world of rock and roll on guitar, AL COOPER, on bass PATRICK O’HEARN (ZAPPA), on drums and percussion, RAY COOPER, and RIC PARNELL, along with some of the leading players of SHANKAR’S accompanists.
