The history of MOTHER GONG began in 1978 with the release of the album ‘Mother’.
MOTHER GONG have toured extensively, and appeared at the Glastonbury Festival in 1979 and 1981.
This collection of 21 tracks compiled by GILLI herself in 1996, has been unavailable for some time.
Amongst the musicians appearing on this collection are ROBERT CALVERT from HAWKWIND, STEVE HILLAGE, and STEVE BROUGHTON from the EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND.
