 Meisner Swan and Rich like other West Coast superstar

bands such as Souther Hillman Furay and Crosby Stills

Nash and Young could be seen as a record company cash

cow rather than the coming together of three major artists

in a pooling of their collective talents.
 

Happily the debut album from Meisner Swan and Rich falls

into the latter category. The self titled album which features

Randy Meisner alongside Billy Swan and Charlie Rich Jr

combines the vocal attributes held by all three along with

some fine song writing on this self written debut album

originally released in 2001. The songs will be the draw

here with all three artists adding to the mix in an album

that more than justifies the collaboration.
