MAN who started life in the late 60’s/early 70’s were the nearest the UK ever got to producing our own version of The Grateful Dead.
Famous for their long jam sessions, they even at one time hooked up with the legendary JOHN CIPPOLINA from QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE.
This truly awesome 7 CD box set, from the band's personal archives, was recorded at their peak in the mid 70’s.
Taken from shows in the UK and USA there are classic versions of their best known works, including SPUNK ROCK, THE STORM and MANY ARE CALLED.
Of particular interest is the concert from 1976 recorded in Berkeley, California, where the late great CIPPOLINA joins the band for performances much better than the official MAXIMUM DARKNESS release.
As way of a bonus we have included 2 discs recorded in 1984.
MAN continue to tour and record to this day.

Man are a rock band from South Wales whose style is a mixture of West Coast psychedelia, progressive rock, blues and country-rock. Formed in 1968 as a reincarnation of Welsh rock harmony group ‘’The Bystanders’’, Man are renowned for the extended jams in their live performances, and having had numerous line up changes.
