Random Hold was a band that was formed by two friends,
David Ferguson and David Rhodes in 1976 following a
concert by Phil Manzanera's band 801.
The band went through a number of line up changes but
eventually won a record deal with Polydor records and
released their debut album produced by Van Der Graaf
Generator's Peter Hammill. The band also managed to
secure the support slot on Peter Gabriel's 1980 tour when
the singer toured the UK and America.
Random Hold: View With Suspicion is a compilation of
some of the bands previously released songs alongside
some previously unreleased material and more
importantly a preview from the forthcoming album A View
From The Summit...Before The Fall which will be the first
new Random Hold album for almost thirty years.
Description: Formed in 1978 and became something of a cult band...
