FLOATING WORLD RECORDS is a one year old independent record company, based in North London.
On the flight deck is former Director of JAKE RIVIERA and ELVIS COSTELLO'S DEMON RECORDS, PETE MACKLIN. And dragging Pete into the 21st century with all things IT, Digital and beyond is JAMIE MACKLIN. Part of the FWR team is ALAN ROBINSON at INDISCREET PR who takes care of press and composes most of our excellent liner notes without ever mentioning Nick Lowe and using the word “Eponymous”. Getting the goods out of the door to all our customers worldwide is handled by JAN PARKER and RYAN at MULTI CHANNEL. A doff of the titfer to IAN RINGROSE and all at PAWSON MEDIA who do all our design work, to JONATHAN and the rest of the Tekkies at SCORE COMMUNICATIONS for the excellent website, and the ever patient EILEEN DODWELL who takes care of all the bookkeeping, along with PEARL ACCOUNTING.
FWR continues to search the world for talent bringing new recordings via its imprint FREEWORLD and re issues via RETROWORLD, and welcomes any suggestions,ideas,submissions on all types of music.
