In November 2007 DAEVID ALLEN founder and leader of the legendary GONG went to Brazil for a series of concerts following the invitation to play at a festival held by SAO CARLOS Federal University.
Those concerts went under the name GONG GLOBAL FAMILY and included musicians of the Invisible Opera Company of Brazil. This album was recorded at the first concert at SESI Theatre in SAO PAULO registering a rare and unique live performance, an evening of celebration of GONG music. Special mention to the eleven minute version of ‘Fohat Digs Hole In Space’, and the GONG classic ‘Radio Gnome’.
